EXTENSION OF HONDUREAN TPS PROGRAM

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano has extended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for eligible nationals of Honduras for an additional 18 months, beginning Jan. 6, 2012, and ending July 5, 2013.
Current Honduran beneficiaries seeking to extend their TPS status must re-register during the 60-day re-registration period that runs from Nov. 4, 2001through Jan. 5, 2012. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) encourages beneficiaries to register as soon as possible when the 60-day re-registration period begins. EL DEPARTAMENTO DE INMIGRACION Y NATURALIZACION ha otorgado una extension para los permisos de TPS que vencerian en January 5,2012 a los conacionales de HONDURAS.
Los interesados en renovar sus permisos de trabajo por medio del programa de TPS necesitan registrarse durante los proximos 60 dias apartir del mes de Nov. 4, 2011 hasta Enero 5, 2012.
